Shall I get a treatment in London or in Budapest?

Forest&Ray provides a full range of cosmetic dental treatments both in London and in Budapest. All dental implants, bridges, crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, fillings, root canal or teeth whitening treatments can be done in our clinic in London.
In case you need more than one implant or complicated oral surgery, treatment in Budapest is more cost-effective and you will still receive full after care in London.

Is all the treatment fully completed by Dr. Fürstner?
Yes, the whole treatment will be done by Dr Furstner.

How do I organize my trip?

Our staff is happy to help you to make arrangements for your dental stay and all information on flights and accommodation in Budapest can be obtained from this website.

How long will my stay be in Budapest?

You will be advised on the length of your treatment and the number of visits required on your Dental Implant Consultation day. The dental condition of your teeth will be thoroughly assessed and a detailed treatment plan will be made and discussed with you during the consultation.
Implants require an initial 5-7 day stay and a 6 day return visit after 4- 6 months.
Veneers usually require an approx. 5-7 day stay or a 1 or 2 day long visit twice.

How much money can I save?

You can have a significant saving with us on your dental treatment.

Around 30-40 % if the treatment takes place in London.

Around 60-70 % if the treatment takes place in Budapest.

Crowns, bridges or implants cost 3-4 times more in UK dental surgeries than in Hungary's excellent dental centres. Our services will suit you if you are in need of a crown, bridgework or dental implants at affordable prices. You will save hundreds of pounds even after all the flight and accommodation costs.

What credentials do the dentists have?

Hungarian dentists are well-known for their excellent qualifications, expertise and considerable experience so their credentials match those in the western countries. All our dentists are registered with the Hungarian Chamber of Dentists. Our Dentists working in our London Clinic are registered with General Dental Council and covered by the dental indemnity of Dental Protection and the Dental Defence Union. All dentists possess liability insurance as required by the Hungarian Chamber of Dentists.

Am I ensured against all problems arising after leaving Budapest?

In case of unsuitable laboratory work our clinics cover all necessary dental and laboratory costs to rectify the problem. In case of small adjustments and repairs, a dentist will see you at our London practice. Aftercare is provided in London at an additional cost and all additional work will be carried out in the clinic in Budapest.

If I decide to go to Hungary how much time do I need to organize my stay and treatment?

Arranging your visit takes approximately 2 weeks. If required accommodation and advice on leisure activities are provided. In case you have already booked your ticket, we will be able to organize your visit within a couple of hours.

How can I spend my free time?

Our team will help you find the program that suits you the most. At your request we will organize day trips on your non-treatment day(s) and help you to spend your free time in a pleasant way and if needed you will be given advice on restaurants, museums and all kinds of leisure activities.

Patients will be given extensive explanation on the nature of the treatment, its purpose, risks and all alternative treatments are discussed in detail.

At the end of the treatment you will be issued with a completion certificate. This is your guarantee and you should keep it safe.
It states that as long as you keep our dentist's advice, we will guarantee the work we do for you.

The guarantee will be reduced or invalidated if?

the patient does not go for a check-up at least once every 6 months
oral hygiene is neglected
dentist's instructions are not followed
removable restoration, such as partial dentures or full dentures is not kept and maintained properly
the gum tissue or teeth bone is naturally declining
substantial amount of weight loss or gain occurs within a short period of time
a general illness is present which has an unfavourable effect on the jaw (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, after-condition excessive X-rays or chemotherapy)
injury caused by accidents, sports or any third party

Note: Prices are valid for 3 months from the date the treatment schedule was sent.

Unforeseen events might occur and influence the initial treatment plan. This could involve removing a tooth, or withdrawing from inserting the implant.

The guarantee does not apply to travelling and accommodation costs.

Flights:

The costs of flights differ according to the date and the special deals offered by a certain airline. We can help you find the best offer to suit your demand. If you book in advance, the prices are usually much more favorable. Wizzair, Skyeurope, Easyjet, Malev, and British Airlines always offer special packages.

Accomodation:

We are pleased to help you choose & book the the most convenient hotel or apartment in Budapest.

Your consultation fee & the price of the Panoramic X-Ray will be deducted from your final bill.

What will happen in Budapest?

All our staff is multilingual with fluent English and one of our REPRESENTATIVES will provide comprehensive assistance during your stay.

Our driver will pick you up from the airport and drive you to your accommodation free of charge.

We will provide you with a Hungarian mobile phone to use during your stay. If you require one, please let us know in advance.

The next morning our driver will meet you at your hotel and take you for your first visit with our dentist and his Team.

If you have any questions, need reservation for dinner or you are interested in taking part in one of the many exciting events in Budapest, our colleagues will be there to help you at any time.

When your treatment is complete you can settle your bill in Hungary in cash or by credit card.

Once you are back to the UK a member of our London office will contact you to check if you were happy with the service and if there was anything else we could assist you with.

In case your treatment requires several visits to Budapest we will provide you with full support and continuous consultation until your treatment is complete.
